Project Description

The purpose of the works was to install individual tactile indicators as an alternative to tactile paving slabs. QTS are pioneering this with their partners Austact who developed the indicators in Australia and have successfully installed them for the majority of Rail companies in Australia. This project is the first in the UK to use this new tactile product. Just under 1400m of platform had tactile indicators installed in under 4 weeks.
