Railway Structure Maintenance & Structural Services

QTS is able to provide railway structure maintenance, safeguarding the integrity of the structure and reducing the possibility of collapse whilst also ensuring safe passage for the public.

Structural services delivered by QTS include:

• Scour Repairs
• Masonry Repairs
• Pointing
• Core drilling
• Waterproofing
• Improvement of surface water drainage
• Repairing or rebuilding retaining walls
• Protection of roadside bridge piers
• Repairing, blasting and re-painting of steelwork
• Installation of barrier schemes

We also install Tunnel Portal Drainage schemes, facilitating tie-ins with filter drains and face pipes through core drilled inserts.
