Geotechnical Case Study

This site, situated close to the border on the East Coast Mainline, required rock netting and catch-fences to make the site safe.  By carrying out the works day-shift, (with an isolation of the OHLE return conductor), QTS avoided working in darkness.  The adjacent coastal walk generated pedestrians through the site which had to be managed.  Working closely with lineside neighbours ensured the project was carried out without interruption.
