Earthworks Enhancements Case Study

Following various attempts by other contractors to fix a serious problem with drainage at this slope, QTS were instructed to carry out a D&B solution.  Combining a regrade, soil nails, gabions and new drainage paths the design took account of the Client’s aspirations as well as local site constraints.  By designing around access availability, the final solution was carried out mostly during daylight hours, with cost and programme savings for the Client.
