Lucky number 7 for Northwest ABC as QTS confirms another year of sponsorship
February 2022
Leading rail infrastructure maintenance firm, QTS Group, has confirmed a 7th year of sponsorship for local boxing club, Northwest.
The business has been involved with Northwest, based in Onthank, since 2015 and its support helps to keep costs low for those who attend the club.
Graeme Marshall from Northwest said:
“To have secured a 7th year of funding from QTS really is a dream come true. We are so proud to represent the brand and their support relieves the pressure of finance, especially in these current times.
“2021 was another difficult year for Northwest but we were pleased to be able to welcome back our senior boxers to get back into training and take part in a few competitions. The backing of QTS gives us the opportunity to continue to grow the club and invest in the equipment and the squad and we can’t wait to see what the rest of 2022 brings.”
Alan McLeish, MD of QTS said:
“The work that Northwest carries out within East Ayrshire is unparalleled. The support that they have continued to give to the young people in the community through the last year has been inspiring and we are excited to continue our support for Ray, Graeme and the rest of the team.
“Northwest is a terrific example of what can be achieved when the right people work together and we are so proud to be a part of that legacy.”
QTS is well known for its commitment to sponsorship in sport through its Youth Athlete programme and also through sponsorship of Darvel FC.
