QTS Group takes home prestigious award for collaboration

QTS Group, alongside Network Rail Scotland, COWI, Fairhurst and MHB Consultants, has won the UK Geotechnical Team of the Year at the 2023 Ground Engineering Awards.

Following a record year for entries, the collaborative team were announced as winners on 12th July 2023 at the awards ceremony in London.

After review by a panel of over 70 expert judges, the team was chosen in recognition of work done on the CP6 Scotland Earthwork and Drainage Framework which included works in drainage, soil cutting, structural works and more.

QTS Group takes home prestigious award for collaboration

Andy Steel, Operations Director for QTS Group, said:

“We were honoured to have received the UK Geotechnical Team of the Year award. It’s fantastic to be recognised for the outstanding work done on the Renewals and Enhancements Geotechnical Framework by our dedicated team.

“Throughout the CP6 Framework, we strived to deliver exceptional geotechnical solutions and services, pushing the boundaries of innovation and ensuring the highest standards of quality. This award is a testament to the hard work, passion, collaboration and commitment that each member of our team has demonstrated.”

The GE Awards brought together close to 1,000 clients, contractors, designers and geotechnical experts for a glamorous evening of celebration, recognition and networking.
