Rams, We're back!
July 2017
Derby County is pleased to confirm that QTS are the Rams’ new training wear sponsor for the upcoming 2017/18 campaign.
The one-year agreement will see QTS’s logo appear on Derby’s first-team management staff and playing squad’s training wear, both during the week and also on matchdays.
QTS teamed up with Derby as a preferred partner back in October 2014 and stated their desire to build a long-standing association with the club. The next step in that process was taken during the 2015/16 season as they became Derby’s back of shirt and shorts sponsor for the entire campaign.
The launch of the new sponsorship deal took place at the Training Centre in partnership with the University of Derby, with manager Gary Rowett on hand to welcome Gary Dawes, Operations Director from QTS and celebrate the next stage of their relationship with the Rams.
Ashley Peden, Director of Partnerships from Derby County said: “We are delighted that QTS have increased their involvement with the club by taking up the sponsorship of our training wear for the 2017/18 campaign.
“We have a fantastic working relationship with QTS, established over the last two and a half years, and we’re really excited about the prospect of their brand appearing on our training wear for this season.
“In celebrating the launch of this partnership, it is only right that we should extend our thanks to 3AAA, who have been our training wear sponsor for the last three seasons.”
Managing Director, Alan McLeish commented: “QTS are really proud to be able to support Derby County once again for the 2017/18 season. We have worked closely with the Rams’ for the past two seasons and they are a great club.
“We have high hopes for the team and we wish them all the best for the upcoming season.”
A lifelong Derby fan, Gary Dawes, Operations Director for the firm, added: “We are really looking forward to becoming the training wear sponsor for the team this season. As a Rams fan, it means a lot to me that the company are able to give something back to support the club and I can’t wait to see our brand next to the infamous Ram.”
