RIA Scotland has announced that Lorna Gibson has been appointed Vice Chair of the group. She is currently Training Director for QTS Group Ltd. with over a decade of rail experience and is a founding member and Chair of Women in Rail Scotland.

As Vice Chair Lorna will work with RIA Scotland Chair Campbell Braid to set the strategic direction and work programme for the group going forward.

I am excited to take up the role of RIA Scotland Vice Chair. It’s a critical time for Scottish rail suppliers as the current Control Period concludes and the next one begins in April 2024.

She added “RIA Scotland provides a strong voice for suppliers with key decision makers and senior stakeholders in calling for pipeline visibility and certainty. I look forward to working with colleagues and partners to further promote the value of the rail supply community in Scotland.
