Rail Services
QTS offer a unique one stop shop service to the rail industry which includes Specialist Plant Supply, Off-track/Lineside works, Vegetation Management, Civil Engineering, Drainage, Signalling, Electrification, Telecoms and Structures services.
QTS holds a Network Rail Principal Contractor Licence and Plant Operating Company in Possessions Licence which enable us to operate on-track plant on Network Rail infrastructure and to undertake projects directly for Network Rail.

Plant Fleet
QTS own and operate a large and varied plant fleet with many vehicles being uniquely adapted for road-rail use. Our fleet of plant and equipment includes the largest number of road-rail vegetation management units in the UK. We can mobilise up to 12No road-rail chipping units to any ONE shift, QTS operate 10 road-rail heavy duty mulching units for scrub control/flail-strip maintenance operations.
Several of our excavators, Unimogs and the Fastrac have the ability to on-track, travel and operate under live OHLE which can dramatically reduce the cost of maintenance activities and increase productivity in possessions.
