A wholly owned subsidiary of the QTS Group, REL is a specialist contracting organisation at the forefront of OLE project delivery in the UK. With over 70 years management experience, our team is equipped to provide delivery, commissioning and maintenance solutions for all OLE systems in both light and heavy rail infrastructure.

Equipped with all of our own specialist road rail machinery and POS we are able to work safely under overhead line infrastructure. This specialist equipment joins the already impressive QTS rail fleet and is maintained by our dedicated in-house plant maintenance team.

REL is well equipped to provide tailored solutions that allow the safe, cost effective and efficient delivery of electrification works. Our highly experienced, directly employed team have breadth of knowledge in the installation of a wide range of OLE systems in large renewal and enhancement project environments, as well as carrying out maintenance and delivery of many new and extension to various projects in light and heavy rail throughout the UK & Europe.

We are able to offer delivery management expertise to support projects through the optioneering, design, construction, testing and commissioning lifecycle.

Nexus

Nexus commissioned the installation of a new Nexus Learning Centre (NLC), located on the old South Shields sidings, to enable personnel training on Nexus Rail infrastructure and rolling stock.

Stirling – Dunblane – Alloa

REL were engaged by Costain, under the banner of ABC, to deliver all the works associated with OLE installation route-wide between Alloa to Stirling via Dunblane.
