QTS is the fastest growing commercial fencing contractor in the UK and ranks first for turnover and market share (Plimsoll Industry Analysis 2015).  The use of new fixing products and improved installation methodology has significantly reduced the time and associated costs for teams to complete fencing projects. The new methodology also requires less investment in heavy plant contributing to further cost reductions and reduced time off site.

Due to the nature of the materials used and the economies of scale required to ensure that fencing materials (hugely dependant on the fluctuating price of steel) can be economically sourced to best advantage, Network Rail have for the last two Fencing Framework contracts opted to choose one preferred supplier augmented by smaller suppliers to ensure continuity, pace & geographical coverage.  This essentially means that the work done through the Framework is generally offered to QTS first then only offered to the Tier 2 contractors where QTS declines.

QTS are currently the largest Tier 1 Preferred Supplier on the National Fencing Framework and our aim to ensure this continues.
