Role and responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a portfolio of Primavera P6 programmes.
  • Assist in ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Actively engage with design, commercial and delivery teams to ensure deadlines are met and any efficiencies are identified.
  • Resource and cost load programmes so both metrics can be monitored.
  • Update programmes from shift reports and maintain trackers in Excel when greater detail is required.
  • Produce reports and schedule updates to the client – this is usually on a 4 weekly basis but can be daily on short term projects.
  • Attend meetings to give progress updates and help identify any potential risks or issues to maintaining planned dates and costs.

Skills required:

  • Proficient Primavera P6 user with a minimum of 2 years project planning experience
  • Proven track record in maintaining & reporting on project plans in P6
  • Able to resource & cost load P6 schedules
  • Good working knowledge of Excel & Microsoft Project and importing or exporting data sets desirable
  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience in Rail, Civils or Geotech work desirable
