Kind hearted staff from QTS Group, gave up their time this week to get involved with Armley Helping Hands at its annual Christmas party.

Armley Helping Hands is a dedicated charity committed to supporting elderly individuals living in deprived inner-city areas of Leeds. Their mission is to provide a lifeline of care, companionship, and practical assistance, helping older people feel valued, connected, and less isolated.

QTS, who has partnered with the charity during every festive period since 2022 to provide volunteers, has taken its support a step further this year and provided funding to ensure that every guest who attends the party can enjoy a hot, Christmas meal free of charge.

I want to express my sincere gratitude for your incredibly generous offer not only to support us not only by providing volunteer support on the day but to cover the cost of our Christmas meals this year is remarkable.  This thoughtful gesture truly embodies the spirit of the season, and it will significantly make a difference not only to the people attending the event but the cost we are saving will all allow us to give free meals to older people we have concerns within the forthcoming winter months.

Christmas is a time for giving and our team is delighted once again to be helping to bring joy and festive cheer to those who need it most through our work with Armley Helping Hands. Each year, we’ve volunteered at their festive celebrations, ensuring that every attendee experiences a memorable festive party.
The work that the charity does is truly invaluable and we are thrilled to help fund the lunch this year. It really is the highlight of the year for the guests but also for our volunteers who love coming along and being part of the festivities.
