QTS recently joined fellow contractors in aiding People Relief Support, a community-led organisation based in Pollok, Glasgow.
The support comes as part of a community fund run by Scotland’s Railway, which helps support local projects across Scotland.
Last year, QTS joined other contractors in pledging support to initiatives that make a meaningful difference within the communities where we operate.
One of the projects directly supported through this commitment was People Relief Support, an organisation dedicated to helping families and individuals facing hardship.
They received a donation from the community fund to ensure they are able to continue their vital work in the area.
People Relief Support works closely with the local community to provide emergency food parcels and essential items to those in need.
In addition to immediate support, the organisation runs a range of activities, classes and workshops aimed at bringing people together and creating lasting opportunities, particularly for young people.
Established at the beginning of 2020, People Relief Support has continued to go from strength to strength, responding to growing community needs with the dedication of a core team of 12 staff, who work tirelessly to provide vital support.
